If you want to lose fat, diet is the most important key to your success. You can’t out-train a bad diet. It doesn’t matter if you do 2 hours of cardio per day, you won’t burn fat if you eat at McDonald’s for every meal or if you snack on hundreds of calories of cookies before dinner.

Even if you don’t cheat on your diet, there are many nutrition mistakes that men and women innocently make on their diet to lose fat. Most folks eat too many carbohydrates, too much bread and pasta, and unhealthy trans-fats.

The best lose fat diet focuses on whole natural foods. You simply need to eat more fruits and vegetables, raw nuts, protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Avoid foods from a bag or a box. It really is simple, but also delicious. You must return to the basics, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how good these taste.

Let’s take a look at a sample daily meal plan to lose fat with diet. Start your day with a breakfast containing protein, fiber, fruit, and even vegetables. If you have the luxury of more time, make an omelet using Omega-3 enriched eggs, adding vegetables to the omelet and have an apple, orange or grapefruit alongside. Avoid juice (too much concentrated sugar), breakfast cereal (most are full of added sugar and processed carbohydrates and even trans-fats).

With that lose fat diet breakfast, you might not even be hungry again till lunchtime, but if you need a snack mid-morning, have a Green Tea, an apple, and 1oz of almonds (along with water). You could also have a protein shake and a banana or other fruit.

At lunch, have a power salad. Add a lean protein source (such as grilled chicken or salmon – prepared in bulk quantities on the weekend) to spinach and a collection of raw vegetables (such as onions, green and red peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc.). You can even put in avocado on the salad. Add Green Tea or water and have a piece of your favorite fruit.

If hunger strikes late afternoon but you want to lose fat, your diet can have raw nuts, fruit, and Green Tea. I like having raw cashews and blueberries, or pecans and blueberries, or walnuts and strawberries. You could also have another apple. This will keep you full and energetic for a long time.

At dinner, have another lean protein and grilled vegetables. Make extra for lunch tomorrow. Always prepare and plan ahead so your workday meals are covered and so that you don’t try and grab something on the go.

Finally, yes you can have dessert. Here’s how. Take some chocolate protein powder and mix it with plain yogurt. Add your favorite nuts or fruit and you have a healthy ice cream substitute without the added fat or sugar.

You can exercise at any time of day on this plan. There is no need to add a high-calorie post workout drink containing excess sugar (like so many bodybuilding magazines recommend). Still to this lose fat diet of whole, natural foods and you will lose fat fast.
