Listen, if you want to achieve advanced results, you have to take advanced measures, and that means strictly recording your food intake in a food journal for weight loss. You might also use a website like Fitday.com to determine how many calories you are eating each day on your weight loss plan. By knowing this info, you'll be able to identify your diet problems and successes. You'll know how much fiber, protein, fat, and carbohydrate you are eating, and then you'll be able to adjust up or down depending on your needs and results. If you are just guessing at how much food you are eating, then you are going to struggle with your weight loss as you get closer to your dream body.

Fat Burning Secret #3 - Alternate days of intense exercise with recovery days.

Not everyday has to be a hard workout to help you lose weight. To be honest, the two diet secrets outlined above are far more important for fat loss than anything you can do with a workout. Nutrition is the most powerful part of a weight loss program, I'll admit it. However, if you have your nutrition diet plan perfected, you'll obviously get a lot of results if your workout plan is perfect as well.

The best way to burn belly fat is to use higher intensity interval training and resistance training supersets. Here's the exact plan we use in Turbulence Training. The workout starts with a general bodyweight circuit to warm-up the muscles and joints. Then you'll do resistance training supersets of non-competing exercises (think squats and pushups, or chest presses and rows) for 15-20 minutes. Finally, you'll finish the short, 45 minute Turbulence Training program with 15-20 minutes of fat burning interval training. But you only do 3 of these workouts per week on alternate days.

On your "off days" or "recovery days", you should stay as active as possible, getting at least 30 minutes of exercise and doing some type of stress relieving activity. You need to stay active and reduce stress and ENJOY yourself on your off days. Doing a fun activity you look forward to is a little known component of an effective, long-term weight loss plan.
